Small Business Tax Workshops
The tax workshops are back by popular demand. Sign up online.
These seminars are designed to help interpreters understand how to fulfill their tax responsibilities as small business owners. Workshops are presented by CRA specialists. Workshop topics vary from a general overview of taxes to more specific topics such as recordkeeping and retirement plans. A nominal fee is charged to cover the cost of the event.
Registration is now open for any of the upcoming Tax workshops:
- September 29th, 2010, from 6pm to 9pm
- December 8th, 2010, from 6pm to 9pm
- February 9th, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm
- May 11th, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm
- August 10th, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm
- November 9th, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm

Interpreters needed in Durham, York and Peel regions
Time is of the essence!
MCIS is looking for interpreters who reside in Durham, York or Peel regions, with or without training. Interpreters with relevant certifications, training or experience are highly desirable. Will train linguistically-proficient individuals. All languages can apply. Subsidies available for qualified applicants. See also our finder's fee program (download flyer below).
